  • What is PRINCE2®?

    PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments 2nd Version) is a structured project management method to mange projects and it is adaptable to any size or type of project or any industry. It is widely used in over 50 countries.
  • What are the PRINCE2® qualifications and what will they teach me?

    The PRINCE2®Foundation qualification will teach you the PRINCE2®principles, themes, and processes and when qualified you will be in a position to understand and discuss on project management methodology and influence project management team for the success of a project. The PRINCE2®Practitioner qualification will teach you to apply PRINCE2®methodology to run and manage a project. Once qualified you will be able to apply and tailor PRINCE2® in a project scenario situation. You will have a sound knowledge of principles, themes and processes, and also have the skills to tailor the methodology to suit the project needs and deliver. All PRINCE2®Practitioners should be re-registered within 3-5 calendar years of their original certification to maintain their Registered Practitioner status.
  • What is the structure of PRINCE2®Foundation exams?

    A 75 question multiple choice examination has a pass mark of 35 out of 70. The exam duration is 60 minutes. It is a closed book exam and delegates are not allowed to use any reference material during the exam period. Success in this examination indicates that the candidate would be able to act as an informed member of a project management team using the PRINCE2® method within a project environment supporting PRINCE2® . Please note that success in the Foundation examination is a prerequisite for that candidate to move forward to the Practitioner examination.
  • What is the structure of PRINCE2®Practitioner exams?

    A 80 question Objective Test Examination has a pass mark of 44 out of 80 (55%). The exam duration is 150 minutes. This is an open book exam and delegates are allowed to use reference material “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2® 2009 Edition”. Success in this examination indicates that the candidate could apply PRINCE2® to the running and managing of projects within an environment supporting PRINCE2®. This is the top level of PRINCE2®qualification.
  • Are there any prerequisites before taking a PRINCE2®examination?

    There are no eligibility criteria to sit for Foundation exams. However a delegate needs to pass Foundation exams or Project Management Professional (PMP)® to sit for Practitioner exams. If a delegate attends Foundation and Practitioner class room type course and sits for exams one after another, the trainer or invigilator will access the Foundation exam results. If that delegate passes the exams, he/she will be allowed to sit for Practitioner exams For Re-Registration candidates must achieve a pass at the Practitioner examination and must also submit their candidate registration number of their expired Practitioner certification.
  • How I can report my PDUs to PMI

    You will need to complete and submit a PMP Professional Development Activities Reporting Form to PMI. This can be obtained from by visiting www.pmi.org/Certification/Maintain-Your-Credential.aspx.
  • How long until I receive the course confirmation details?

    Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive an email which contains your e-Learning use-id, password, and payment receipts. If you have purchased any books, it will be shipped to your address within 2 to 3 weeks.
  • How do I sit for exams at home?

    You can take up your final certification exams at the comfort of your home using the ProctorU technology that is available 24/7.   • How do I sit for exams at physical exam center?

    These exams run only on certain dates at certain locations, and these places are pretty much booked in advance, sometimes there is an 8–12 weeks waiting list. Please mail us on support@hsrsglobal.com to assist you.

  • Pre-course work or reading requirements

    PM Skills will email a course material with case study to delegate as pre-course work. It is expected a delegate would take 2 hours to read the material. This case study will be used as part of the course material. If a delegate couldn’t prepare or understand the case study, the trainer will go through the details during the class room breaks, so that it wouldn’t impact other delegate who have read the material.
  • Venue Details

    The venue will be arranged to city central and convenient to public transport and cafes.
  • Expected time commitment

    The course hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, and duration is specified in the enroll table, this includes attending respective exams If exam is not taken as part of the course, PM Skills will provide the required guidance for delegates to attend exams through APMG web site http://www.apmg-international.com/public-bookings-PRINCE2® .aspx
